On Saturday, March 5, 2022, Mrs. Margaret Rose McAfee from Gaspe, wife of the late Weston Hackett, passed away at the age of 84 years.
The family will receive condolences at St-Andrews Church York in Gaspé on Wednesday, March 9.
Visitation hours are from 7 pm to 9 pm. The funeral will take place at St-Andrews Church, York, on Thursday, March 10, at 2:30 pm. Please take note that on Thursday, the day of the funeral, the church will open at 1:30 pm.
Margaret Rose leaves to mourn:
her children : Holly, Ronald, Karl (Sandy), Allan (Suzanne), Noreen, Tobias;
7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gaspe Cancer Foundation.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Valère Fortin Funeral Home in Gaspé, a subsidiary of the HG Division network awarded DIstinction by the Corporation of Thanatologists of Québec and BNQ-certified by the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec.
