It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Doreen Minchinton, aged 92, at the CISSS, Gaspé Hospital, on August 6, 2022. She was the widow of the late Mr. Elymer Langlois from Gaspé.
The family will receive condolences at the Valère Fortin Funeral Home in Gaspé on August 15, 2022. Visiting hours are from 1 pm to 3 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on the same day at 3 pm.
Mrs. Minchinton leaves to mourn
her daughters Carol (Lawrence Bourgaize), Wanda (Van Donovan), Jean (Alain Dubé), Judy (Claude Béliveau), Loretta (Marius Dubé), Joanne (Lloyd Langlais), Fay (Simon Delorme), Betty Ann (Gordon Clark), and Cindy (Gary Rees);
her sons Grant (Corine Normand), Warren (Lisa Jean), and Carter (Patricia Carroll);
30 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren,
three sisters, three brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law,
nephews , nieces and many friends.
She is now with her daughter Barbara.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Quebec Lung Association.
The Valère Fortin Funeral Home has been entrusted with organizing the above mentioned services.
