It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Ellis Roberts, 69 years old, at the Gaspé hospital on July 28, 2025, surrounded by his family. Mr. Roberts, of Gaspé, was the son of the late Mr. Murray Roberts.
Mr. Ellis Roberts is survived by:
his mother Georgette,
his spouse Bertha,
his daughter Melissa (Nicholas),
his grandchildren Logan and Adeline,
his sisters Karen and Heather (Dave),
his niece Kaitlyn,
and extended family and several friends.
All marks of affection, in memory of Ellis, can be offered by donations to the Gaspé Cancer Foundation.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Funeral Home Valère Fortin of Gaspé, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec.
The management and staff of HG Division offer their deepest condolences to the family and thank them for their trust.

I have so many good memories of him since the expropriation of the Forillon Park and also of his father Murray who worked so hard with Lionel Bernier to increase the indemnities paid for properties to the people.
