Violette Asselin DeVouge passed away peacefully at Hôtel-Dieu, Gaspe Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth DeVouge (deceased June 8, 2003).
Following the condolences in February, there will be a service at the St-Peter's Church in Barachois on May 19th 2025, at 11h00. The burial is going to follow after the service in the cemetery of Barachois.
Loving mother of Shirley (deceased June 12, 2011) and her husband Wayne, Andrew and his wife Kathleen, Kenny and his wife Viola, Francine and her husband Ivan, Ronnie (deceased January 2, 1976), Elvis and his wife Doreen, Betty Ann (deceased January 20, 1990), Denis and his wife Wanda, Joyce and her husband Gary, and Lorraine and her husband Mark.
She was a cherished grandmother (Mama) of 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Violette will be forever missed by her family, friends, and loved ones.
Our family would like to say a special thank you to her caretaker and special friends who dropped in on her in Barachois.
