At the CISSS de la Gaspésie, CHSLD Monseigneur-Ross, Mrs. Mary Hackett, wife of the late Mr. Wendell Baird, passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 85 years.
As for her wishes, there will be no service.
Mary is survived by her son Harry, her sisters Stella and Christina, her brothers Alfred and Dennis,
and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Wendell, her mother Celina, her father David, her sister Anna, her brothers Rene and Gary.
Her son would like to express his sincere appreciation to the family members for the care and compassion they offered his mother during her life. In the last several years, her niece Judy Lucas and Judy’s daughter Emma were constantly available and provided the support, understanding, and love that Mary needed at this time. No words can truly express our gratitude for this.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Valère Fortin Funeral Home of Gaspé, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec.

Mary was an incredible person who touched so many lives. I'll always remember her kindness, sense of humor, smile and her giggle. May her memory be a blessing to you and the entire family. She will be missed immensely. ❤️
