Passed away at the CISSS de la Gaspésie, CHSLD de la Côte-de-Gaspé on July 30, 2018 at the age of 89 years and seven months, Mrs. Marie-Jeanne Whalen, wife of the late Norman Bond from Pointe-Navarre.
The family will receive condolences at the Résidence Funéraire Valère Fortin Inc. de Gaspé, on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 7 pm to 9:30 pm and on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 1 pm to 1:30 pm.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 2 pm in the church of Pointe-Navarre.
Mrs. Whalen leaves behind:
- her seven sons: Lawrence, Donald (Marie), Robert (Élaine), Gaven (Margaret), Melvin (Nora), Harry, et Gilles (Nathalie)
- her three daughters: Linda (Raynald), Norma et Gailann,
- her 14 grandchildren, her eight great-grandchildren, her two brothers Albert et Laurent, and many nephews, nieces and friends.
The Valère Fortin Funeral Home has been entrusted with organizing the above mentioned services.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Société Alzheimer Gaspésie-Les Îles.
