J.F. Fortin & Fils Funeral Home of Port-Daniel have been asked to announce the passing of Mr. Gary Mauger, husband of Margaret Ann Sweetman of Port-Daniel, Québec which occurred on March 2, 2022 at the Centre Hospitalier de Chandler at the age of 77 years and 4 months.
Gary leaves to mourn his dear wife Mags of 58 years;
four sons : Kevin, Scott (Dawn Freeman), Geoffery (Virginia Robinson), Gerry Chapados (Carmen Irwin);
grandchildren Caitlyn (Justin Harrison), Jade (Luigi Lombardo), Codi (Jaymi McMillan), Cassandra, Devin,
Berkley, Amber, Shelby, Alyssa, Annaka, Aryanna;
ten great-grandchildren as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Gary also leaves to mourn sister Barbara (Darryl MacNeil), their daughters Miranda and Heather;
nephew Eric Mauger (Nadia Roussy) and niece Isabelle Mauger (Jason White).
Predeceased by his parents Philip Mauger and Isabel Caines, his brother Arthur (Jocelyne Berthelot),
his son Lauder in 1972 and in-laws Lauder Sweetman and Eva Lawrence.
The family will receive condolences at the J.F. Fortin Funeral Home in Port-Daniel on Sunday, March 6th, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm.
On March 7th, the funeral home will open at noon for a final viewing.
Funeral service to follow at 2 pm at the St. James' Anglican Church in Port-Daniel, followed by the interment.
