On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Gaspé Hotel-Dieu Hospital, Mrs. Mary-Jane Briand residing at Douglastown, wife of the late Mr. Louis Rehel, passed away at the age of 95 years and 5 months.
The family will receive condolences at Valère Fortin Funeral Home in Douglastown on Monday January 9, beginning at 7 p.m.
Visitation hours are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The funeral will take place at St-Patrick's Church on Tuesday, January10, at 11 a.m. Please take note that on Tuesday, the day of the funeral, the funeral home will open at 9 a.m.
Mrs. Mary Jane leaves to mourn,
Rosalie (Gilles), Bonita, Janice, Baurice (Beverly), Carolyn (Martin), Perry, Stewart.
She was predeceased by Michael.
She also leaves to mourn 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren,
one sister Blenda, many nephews, nieces and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gaspé Cancer Foundation.
