IN MEMORY OF MARILYN PYE AHERN
July 14, 1926 - January 22, 2023 - 96 years
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Marilyn Pye Ahern at the age of 96 years at the CISSS de la Gaspésie, Pavillon Monseigneur Ross, on January 22, 2023.
Predeceased by her husband Tony Ahern and her brother Murray Pye.
Mrs. Pye leaves to mourn
her children Peter and Joanne (Jim),
her grandchildren Christopher and Charlotte (Blue),
her great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Jax, Grey and Belle.
She is survived by her sister Betty as well as nieces and nephews.
A service and burial will take place on August 8, 2023 at St. John's and St. Philip's Church in Sandy Beach at 11:00 am with a lunch to follow there.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Foundation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé or Chron's and Colitis Canada.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Valère Fortin Funeral Home, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des thanatologues du Quebec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec.
