On March 31, 2023 at the CISSS de la Gaspésie, Hospital of Gaspé, Mrs. Ida Marie Bourgaize residing at York, wife of the late Mr. Whorwell Jean passed away at the age of 80 years.
The family will receive condolences at the Valère Fortin Funeral Home in Gaspé on Wednesday, April 5, beginning at 7 p.m.
Visitation hours are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The funeral will take place at St-Andrew's Church in York on Thursday, April 6, at 2 p.m.
Please take note that on Thursday, the day of the funeral, the funeral home will open at noon.
Mrs. Ida Marie Bourgaize leaves to mourn
her daughters Lorraine (Sean) and Joyce (Henri),
her grandchildren Christopher (Mandy), Kevin (Heather), Nikita and Jillian,
her three great-grandchildren Calvin, Piper and Lily,
her five sisters and two brothers,
her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,
her nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gaspé Cancer Foundation.
