Adelard Gaumond

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Adelard Gaumond, aged 87, at Monseigneur-Ross on June 8, 2025. Mr. Gaumond, from Gaspe, was the son of the late Mrs. Rose-Ann Element and the late Mr. Basile Gaumond.

Visitation will take place at St-Peter’s Church of Barachois on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 1 pm to 2 pm. The service will take place at 2 pm and the burial will follow.

Mr. Adelard Gaumond is predeceased by his brothers John, Charles, Herman and his sisters Thelma, Doreen, Mary, Lucy and Doris.

Mr. Adelard Gaumond leaves to mourn:
his wife Carey,
his sons Wayne (Audrey), Clyde (Esther) and Dean (Cindy),
his grandchildren Justin, Joshua, Andrea, Courtney and Jake,
his great-grandchildren William and Landon,
his brother Owen (Mary) and Patrick,
his sister Olive,
nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family members and friends.

Professional services were entrusted to the Valère Fortin Funeral Home, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation of thanatologists of Quebec and by the Bureau de Normalization du Québec.
