James Lévesque

November 11, 1934 - January 13, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. James Lévesque, aged 90, at Gaspé Hospital, on Monday, January 13th, 2025. Mr. Lévesque, from Jacquet River in New-Brunswick, was the son of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Blais and the late Mr. Richard Lévesque.

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 6th, at Valère Fortin funeral home in Gaspé, from 6pm. to 9pm. The funeral service will take place the next day, Saturday, June 7th, at St-Andrew’s church at 3pm. The burial will Follow, at 4pm, at St-Andrew Cemetery.

James was predeceased by his wife Mary Ann, who he married in Murdochvile, his brother Gerald and his sister Lorraine.

James Leave Behind:
his partner Carol,
His sons James Jr. (Eleanore) and Jospeh (Marlene),
His daughter Lisa (Carl),
his sisters Florence, Dorothy and Patsy,
His grandchildren Isaac, Geri-Ann, Stacey, Ian and Mathew,
many nieces, nephew and other relatives and friends.

The family which to thank all the nurses, doctors and staff, from the 7th floor of Gaspé’s Hospital, who took good care of Jimmy.

Professional services have been entrusted to the Funeral Home Valère Fortin of Gaspé, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec.
