It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Victor William Annett on January 10, 2025 at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Gaspe, Quebec at the age of 89 years.
Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, from 7 pm. to 9 pm. at the Valère Fortin Funeral Home of Gaspé and on Monday, January 20th, 2025, from 1 pm to 2 pm. at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrow, Pointe Navarre, Gaspé, Québec. The funeral mass will follow at 2 pm.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Coreen Suddard Annett,
his children, Jacinta (Michael), Joanne (William), Magdalene (Scott), and Peter (Andrea),
seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathaniel, Robin, Timothy, Matthew, Kaitlyn, and Maria,
nine great-grandchildren, Alynn, Lyla, Thea, Hazel, Liam Wren, Luke, Greyson, and Beckham,
nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ida and Charles Annett, brothers Wilson, Art, Sydney, Ernest, Lewis and Alva.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Doctor David Bernier and the Palliative care staff at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Gaspé for their wonderful care and compassion.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Valère Fortin Funeral Home of Gaspé, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des thanatologues du Québec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec.
