On the eve of her sixty-second birthday, July 16, 2023, Mirella (Mimi) Synnott-Palmer died suddenly at home. A native of Gaspé, she lived in Burlington, Ontario for many years.
She is survived by her husband Derek Palmer, her children Michelle-Anne (Nick King) and Dave (Michelle Mohabir), her mother, Anne-Marie Langlois (the late André Synnott), her sisters Rachel and Annik (Yvan Ste-Croix), her brothers, Jean-Martin (Atshukué Boudreault), Pierre-Luc (Amélie Denis), Serge (Louise Bujold)
and Paul-André (Hélène Dumais), as well as her three beloved grandchildren, Shay, Emma and Sophia-Anne.
Also affected by her passing are her sisters-in-law, Lorna (Everett Clark) and Valery (the late Zeno Thompson), her uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and other members of the Palmer and Synnott families, as well as her friends.
To pay tribute, an intimate family gathering is planned for the summer of 2024, in Gaspé.
We will miss her contagious smile and good humour so much.
Here's hoping she's watching over all of us.
Have a nice trip Mimi!
