Jean Dorothy (Goodfield) Chatterton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Dorothy (Goodfield) Chatterton at the age of 85 years, which occurred at the CHSLD in New Carlisle on October 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Jean was born in Vineland, Ontario on February 7, 1938, to parents George Goodfield and Grace Patterson, and spent most of her life living in Hamilton, Ontario where she married the love of her life, Carl Chatterton, and raised her family. After retiring in 1966, she and her husband Carl moved to his hometown of New Carlisle, Quebec, where she lived happily for the remainder of their lives.
Jean leaves behind her beloved children Kevin (Christy) and Kim (John);
her grandchildren: Brianna (Matthew), Kristen, Luke, Cole, Joshua (Rebecca) and Jenna;
her newly born great- granddaughter Islas Jean;
her sister Eileen;
also many other family members and good friends.
A visitation will take place at the Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home,197 Gerard D Levesque, in New Carlisle on Tuesday, October 10.
Visiting hours will be from 7 pm to 9 pm with the funeral service at the Bible Chapel on Wednesday, October 11, in New Carlisle at 2 pm.
Interment will take place immediately following the the service at the Pentecostal Cemetery on Normandie Street in New Carlisle
Please be advised that on the day of the funeral, the funeral home will open at 1 pm.
The Henri Thibodeau Funeral Home has been entrusted with organizing the above mentioned services.
