We have many fond memories of times spent at Wakeham Festivals ,and other events where Albert was involved ,like our niece’s wedding ,which he and Elaine catered .

Had the pleasure of knowing Albert for many years. Met him initially through the Wakeham York Festival in the mid eighties. Also remember the good times playing cards, the parties and all those excellent meals. He was a great man and organizor and will be sadly missed in the community. I had the pleasure of working with Albert through CASA in the 1980"s.... He was a team partner and was always willing to go the extra mile to see the projects he worked on were well organized. Great community individual to many organizations in the Gaspe area. He will be missed by many... Many fond memories of Albert I shall always cherish.

Our condolences to Elaine and Family Albert was a great help to all the Gaspe English community He will be missed by all along the coast Rest in Peace Albert.

I had the pleasure to work with Albert when we were waiters at "Bennys"; also, on the Wakeham - York Home Coming Committee. Time passed quickly in Albert's presence as he always had a joke or story to share. We wish to pass on our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. RIP Al.

My sympathies to Mrs Elaine, Stacy and his family. Mr Albert was a kind man who was generous with his time and knowledge. We have lost a huge piece of our English community and I only hope that Mr Albert knew how much he was loved and appreciated.

We must all now try to pick up the huge pieces he left and work together to keep up his legacy of helping the community.
