I am greatly disappointed to read of The passing of Mr Lemieux. He was a great man.

Bill and I join the rest of the community in expressing our deepest sorrow for the loss of such a great man. Isaac was always cheerful, joyful, and loved to sing. "Between two trees" is particularly poignant at this time. Our condolences to the family and close friends.

We were very sad to hear of the passing of your dear Father. Mr. Isaac was a founder and a pillar of the community of Barachois and the surrounding area. It's hard to imagine the changes he must have seen in his more than 90 years in our community. How many fish did he see brought to the wharf in Barachois? How many kids did he see grow up? How many baptisms, weddings and funerals did he sing at in his lifetime?
He will surely be missed in our little community and will always be remembered as a truely great man.
Please accept our deepest sympathy at this very sad time for your family and for our little town.

My sincere sympathies to all the family. Isaac was such a wonderful person. He will be so missed by all. I was such a lucky person to be a part of his family for seven wonderful years. My prayers are with you all at this sad time.

Some of my fondest childhood memories involved him, my father, and some other Barachois men having a great time joshing and playing around! He was the type of man I wanted to grow up to be!! Our deepest sympathy to the family, I had the privilege to know Mr. Issac ( as we called him ), he was a gentleman to all, RIP Sir.

He was a special, great and loving man, whose memory will live forever.

We were so sorry to hear of Mr. Isaac's passing. His family has lost a great father, grandfather and great grandfather. The residents of Barachois has lost a man with a great knowledge of the town and of it's people. If his knowledge of the town had been put into a book it would have been a very large one. Rest in peace Mr. Isaac. Everyone will miss you.
